About Us
Khmer Krom Children Foundation is a small organization working on projects with local effects and scale. The organization is established to help Khmer Krom children in Binh Phuoc province in South Vietnam. We are working in conjunction with three local villages, Phum Thom, Phom Baveng, and Phum Chadon to sponsor a Khmer literacy project lead by Wat Phum Thom Buddhist Temple. Our first project, the Kumar Phum Thom Project has three focuses:
- Teach
- Shelter
- Promote
Khmer Krom children Khmer language to preserve their cultural identity
poor Khmer Krom children in the village and provide them educational assistance and support in both national [Vietnamese] and native [Khmer] language
education and values for learning and scholastic aspiration among disadvantaged Khmer Krom minorities in Vietnam
These three objectives speaks whole of our overall vision for the expansion and future growth of the Khmer Krom Children Foundation.
